On a spring day in May, a beautiful baby girl was born to the parentage of Jack Charles and Rozella May Jones in Marshall, Texas. They lovingly named her, Charlandré Roselle. She was the first born to this union. Charlandré grew in wisdom and stature, and graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in 1995 where she pledged and became a member of the Sigma Sweets. While attending Kimball, Chae was an outstanding athlete. Due to her dedication and commitment to sports, she was awarded several medals (volleyball, basketball, track and field). Charlandré received an academic scholarship to Jarvis Christian College and studied Criminal Justice. Later, she earned a certification as a surgical technician from Standford Brown. She was currently employed at Insurance Auto Auction at Grand Prairie as Leading Supervisor in management.
As a result of her Christian upbringing, Charlandré accepted Christ at an early age. The Christian beliefs and principals that were instilled in her were evident in her life, “treat others as you would want to be treated.” Chae had a profound love for all people. Many lives have been touched by her selfless acts of kindness. There was never a dull moment when you were in her presence. Charlandré was best known for cracking joke’s, her laugh, and her beautiful smile was infectious.
On her journey, Charlandré met and married Wade Cole on May 27, 2003.
She was preceded in peace by her maternal grandparents, Dave and Nelerine “Dot” May; paternal grandparents, JC and Sammie Mae Jones. Charlandré leaves a legacy of three children, Dezmund Jones; D’Chaela Jones, and DilAnthony Cole (Cedrick Hill, fiancé). She also leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Jack and Rozella Jones; sister, Jacquelyn Bonner (Terrence); sister/cousin, Yolanda Phillips; Teresa Anderson; special aunt, Florene May; niece, Destini Taylor; nephews, Courtney X. Taylor, II and Jace Bonner; aunts, Pamela Collier and Flora Alexander; uncles, James May (Brenda), Cleo May (Velma), Joseph Jones (Mary), and Winston Jones (Alice); a host of other relatives and friends that loved her dearly.
