Felix Taylor, Sr.

Felix Taylor, Sr. was born on April 18, 1938 in Frankston, Texas. He was a very good and humble husband, father, grandfather, and a great cook. Felix was a man who never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Felix received his formal education from the Dallas Independent School District. He worked at Fox and Jacobs for many years. He then worked for the Dallas Housing Authority and retired after 28 years of service. After retirement, he began to work at the State Fair of Texas in the Gate Department until his homegoing.

Felix Taylor, Sr. departed this earthly life on September 6, 2019. He was preceded in death by three sons, Micheal Taylor, Larry Preston, and Herman Preston.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Regina Taylor; children, Rickie Dodd, LaToya Dodd (Kevin Hunter), Shamiqua Taylor, Mattie Taylor, Sara Watson, Reba Iva Causey, Deorsay Taylor (Shelia Taylor), Kenneth Preston, Felix Taylor, Jr. and Cassandra Preston; eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
