Iva Johnson

Iva Jean Johnson, 76, died on July 14, 2019. She was born October 15, 1942. She lived an exuberant, abundant life and was loved by anyone who crossed her path. She took pride in her family, friends, and loved ones.

Iva was a member of New Lancaster Community Baptist Church in Lancaster, TX. She enjoyed her fellowship with God.

She married young to Joe Louis Henry and they had four children.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Rhone; father, Ira Lyons; and her beloved son, Vertron Charles Henry.

Iva is survived by her three daughters, Sherri Thompson, Sonja  Henry, and Karen Henry; her grandchildren, Anthony Dews, LaSherri Henry, Sherrica Thompson, Fatimah Johnson, Hakeem Abdullah, LaSonja Henry, Derrick Henry, Jeremy Henry, and Angel Henry; her siblings, Herbert Carter (Yolanda), Carolyn Jackson (Robert), Whilmia Duncan, and Anna Lyons. She also leaves behind her husband, Cecil Johnson.
