Joseph Freeman Robinson, was born on June 25, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Abe and Francis Robinson. He was the youngest of five children born to this union.
Joseph graduated from Lewisville High School and attended college at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He worked at Sears in Lewisville and at Westgate Hospital in Denton for many years. After moving to Dallas, Joseph worked for the Irving Independent School District as a substitute teacher and a bus driver.
As a young man, Joseph obeyed the gospel and gave his life to Christ. He served in various capacities at the Simmons St. Church of Christ in Denton, Texas, Carrollton West Church of Christ in Carrollton, Texas, Dalworth Park Church of Christ in Grand Prairie, Texas and Glenn Heights Church of Christ in Glenn Heights, Texas. He loved serving the Lord and was the Evangelist of North Side Church of Christ in Midland, Texas.
Joseph will forever be remembered for his kind heart and loving personality. He was a avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved people.

The Lord Jesus Christ deemed it fit to call Evangelist Joseph Freeman Robinson, Sr. home in the early morning hours of October 15, 2019. All the glory be to God, for He knows when his children need to come home, their heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his father, Abe Robinson; mother, Francis Robinson; and one brother, Lafayette Davis.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Joseph Freeman Robinson, Jr. (Tamara); two grandsons, Deondre Robinson of DeSoto, Texas and Bryson Robinson of McKinney, Texas; three granddaughters, Kizzia Robinson of Austin, Texas, Keiyanna Robinson of McKinney, Texas and Aubrey Robinson of McKinney, Texas; four brothers, Billy Joe Fears (Shirley) of Denver, Colorado, Don Robinson (Ruthie) of Dallas, Texas and Brad (Betty) of Lewisville, Texas, along with a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
