Annie Jones

Annie Pearl Jones was born on March 19, 1948 to the parentage of Charles and Eartha Hood in Omaha, Texas. Annie was educated in the Dallas Independent School District. She worked for the school district, Rochester Gauges, Inc. and later retired from The Lighthouse for the Blind.

Annie married Claude Jones, Sr. on August 24, 1965, to this union four children were born.

Annie gave her life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend Price at Sandhill Baptist Church in Seagoville, Texas. She later moved her membership to New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Billy L. Bell, Sr. until God called her home.

Annie Pearl Jones departed this earthly life on Thursday, July 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Joe Hood. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Terri Beck (Keith), Patricia Jones, and Ashley Jones; son, Claude Jones, Jr. (Kayrell); 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 special niece, Shemekca Freeman (Derrick), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved her dearly.
