Barbara Biggers

Barbara Ann Brown was born in Temple, Texas to David and Zerleane Brown on April 11, 1949. She grew up in Temple where she graduated from Dunbar Junior-Senior High School in 1967. Following graduation, she attended Prairie View for a short time.

On September 10, 1971, she was married to Harvies Biggers. They raised two sons, Shawn Biggers (Christi) and Donnie Brown.

Barbara accepted Christ at an early age and was member of the Lord’s Body. She attended various churches of Christ through the years in Dallas (Cherry Valley, Hatcher Street, and Southern Hills)

Barbara was employed for many years at Southwestern Life Insurance Company. She later retired from First Southwest.

She was proceeded in death by both parents; two sisters, Margaret Brown and Diane Brown and four brothers, David Brown, Ray Charles Brown, James Brown, and Isaiah Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, devoted family friend/daughter Stacy Bald, 8 grandchildren (Brandon, Sheniqua, Tarail, Octavia, Ashley, Mason, Josiah, and D’onnie), 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and loved ones.
