Beverly Ruth (Herron) Williams was born on July 2, 1948, in Wolfe City, Texas to the late Archie and Erma Herron. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Williams. She leaves behind two sons Christopher Williams and his wife Tonya and their two children: Camryn and Sierra; Carl Mallory Williams and his wife Jamie and their two children: Cayden and Carlyn. She leaves two daughters Candice Hutchings and her husband Reggie and their three children: Carmen, Treasure, and Nuriah. Kimbley Littleton and her husband Christopher and their four children: Kei’Shawna, Key’Lona, Keidrea, and Keir (K.J.). She also leaves behind her great grandchildren: Kendrick, Dashawn, Micah, Travion, Myonna, Ezra.
Beverly was born into a family of twelve children being the third youngest. She leaves behind her oldest sister Melba Clark, Ethel Williams, Roger Herron (Bo), Terry Pippen, Rodney Herron, Darnetta Day, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She graduated from the integrated Wolfe City High School in 1966. She went on to East Texas State University, where she received her bachelor's and master's degrees in education.
Beverly was a very active member in her church. She worked greeting people at the door and helping where needed. So was a strong believer in her faith and her love for God. She was an active member in the NAACP, Iota Phi Lambda, Psi Chapter Pelatis Auxiliary, and Teacher Associations.
