Celestine Phillips

Mrs. Celestine O. Phillips was born on Wednesday, November 16, 1932, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Chessie C. Sterling and Ozie Jackson. She was the oldest of 9 children.

She received her education in the Chicago Public School System.

On February 21, she was called home at the age of ninety-one.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Chessie Sterling, her father, Ozie Jackson; her sisters Gwendolyn Shadd and Brenda Dunn; her brothers, Patrick Sterling, Curtis Sterling, and Reginald Sterling.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her only son, Conrad Jackson (Evelyn); her loving sisters, Claudia (Wendy) Sterling and Pamela Sterling; her brother Gerald Sterling, along with her 2 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends that loved her dearly.
