Christopher J. Dandridge, 56, passed away on February 8, 2024, in DeSoto, Texas. He was a 1986 graduate of South Side High School, Memphis, TN.
After additional music instruction from Shelby State Community College choir, he became a founding member of Pamela Armour and the Memphis Shop. He sang operatic tenor in the chorus for Opera Memphis. Christopher was a featured soloist on the National Civil Rights Museum Mass Choir release of the freedom anthem “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around." He collaborated with musicians across the Mid-South, Texas, and beyond.
He worked as an orthopedic technician at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis before moving to the Dallas area in 2013 and was employed with Allied Universal Security as a certified security officer.
He was a worship leader with Revival Life Church in Dallas. He was worship leader and in training for ordination with the Ram's Horn Network, under the mentorship of Apostle Antwain Braggs, and was a member of Marquinn Middleton and Miracle Chorale.
He will remain loved and forever cherished by his two sisters, one brother-in-law, his two nephews, Godson and an unbelievably large group of family and friends and co-workers.
