After additional music instruction from Shelby State Community College choir, he became a founding member of Pamela Armour and the Memphis Shop. He sang operatic tenor in the chorus for Opera Memphis. Christopher was a featured soloist on the National Civil Rights Museum Mass Choir release of the freedom anthem “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around." He collaborated with musicians across the Mid-South, Texas, and beyond.
