Coleman was born in Dallas, Texas to the union of William Favors and Betty Jackson. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age where the late Bishop Lonnie G. Williams presided. He became a member and was baptized in 2007 at the Church of God, were he served as an usher.
He attended Carter High School where he participated in football, basketball, and track at a young age. He was a team member that enjoyed sports and being a part of the comradery that it encompasses. He worked in construction and various warehouse companies and held a supervisor position. Coleman was also known to be goofy as he liked making others laugh which his siblings will miss the laughter that he brought to their gatherings.
Coleman was also a loving son and caregiver to his late grandmother. He assisted his mother with the care of his grandmother. Helping with ensuring his grandmother was properly cared for as it relates to her medicine, timely meals, running errands, and taking her to the doctor's office.
He entered eternal rest Thursday, February 22nd, 2024. Coleman is preceded in death by his father William Favors; his grandfather and grandmother Arthur & Johnni B. Jackson; niece, Za’kayla Favors; his uncles, James (Peter) Jackson, and Rodney Jackson; his aunt Shirley Johnson and cousin Charles Johnson, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Betty Jackson; brother, Darius Favors; three sisters, Rokechia Jackson, Jessica Favors-Johnson (Chris Johnson), and Sade Favors-Bennett (Marcell Bennett); And a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunties, and other relatives and friends.
