Darrell Bryant

Darrell was born on August 10, 1961 in Longview, Texas to the late Eddie Bryant and Shirley Davis Maxey. He found Christ at an early age and attended Marsalis Church of Christ and Greenville Avenue Church of Christ later in life. 

He graduated from Skyline High School in 1979, later attended Lamar University and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Journalism. While there, he was a Lamar Cardinal cheerleader and also pledged Omega Si Phi Fraternity. 

Darrell had many interests from martial arts, golf, hockey, hunting and just being outdoors. 

He worked for many years at the United Methodist Reporter, was an Account Executive for FedEx and taught kickboxing. He decided to leave the corporate world and started his own business, Collin County Glass and continued to do what he loved at the same time which was training and coaching in kickboxing. 

Darrell was good father and friend to all who knew him. 

Darrell leaves to cherish his memories, his children John and Bri; former wife, LaShauna; nephew, Chris; niece, Alex, and a host of cousins and friends.
