Donna Fay Cooper Young was born June 22, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Charles Cooper and Margaret White Cooper, who both preceded her in death.
“Fay”, as she was affectionately called by her family and “Bull” by her brothers, received her formal education from the Dallas Independent School District, attending Lincoln High School in Sunny South Dallas.
She met and later married Mr. Steve Young, Jr. of McNeal, Arkansas. To this union, three children were born. Faye was a loving wife, devoted mother, adored grandmother, and cherished sister. She loved to cook, watch her daytime soap operas (stories), and spend time with her family.
She was employed with Rochester Gauges, Inc. in Dallas for 32 years before retiring.
Our beloved Donna Fay Cooper Young departed this earthly life the early morning of Thursday, February 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Cooper and Margaret White Cooper; two brothers, Michael Larry Brown and Charles Cooper Jr.; and one granddaughter, LaToya Young
She leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories: her husband of 52 years, Mr. Steve Young, Jr.; children, Dorothy Nell Young, Sharon Rena Webb (Dameon), Shegata Clemmons (Carl), and Steve Young, III (Teresa); siblings, Walter Gene Cooper, Donald Ray Cooper, Johnny Cooper, Sharon Louise Rogers (Joseph), and Patsy Kizzie (Ulysses); eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends that loved her dearly.
