Edna Holleman was born on April 28, 1946 to the union of the late Henry and Odessa Alexander in Grandview, Texas.
Edna continued her life in Phoenix, Arizona. She met her husband R.H. Holleman in 1976. They married June 10, 1978 and went on to become parents of Alduland and Erik. In 1996 they moved to Dallas, Texas.
She worked many years for the United States Postal Service and was a bus driver for Dallas County Schools. I addition to being a loving mother and grandmother, Edna also loved traveling several times a year with her husband. They often traveled by road to visit family. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She was a member of Christ The Cornerstone Community Church.
On Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the age of 73 she went home to Jesus. She joins her parents, Henry and Odessa; daughter, Alduland Alexander; and brothers, Herman, Clifford, Curtis, Henry Jr., U.L. in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, R.H Holleman; son, Erik Holleman; grandchildren, Eveny Hastings (Jerel), Michael Hall, Inauka Alexander; great-grandchildren, Blair, Eriyanna, Eastyn, England, Jerel Jr.; three sisters, Rosie Newton (Joe), Margaret Wilburn, and Stella Duncan, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family friends.
