Ervy Lee Jennings

Ervy Lee was born September 8, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to the parents of Dave and Florence Jennings. He attended Dallas Independent School District and was last employed with the City of Dallas.

Ervy was baptized and joined the Body of Christ Church under the leadership of his nephew, Pastor Dedrick Jennings in 2015. He was a faithful member of the church and was responsible for many souls coming to Christ, up until his health failed.

Ervy was the life of the party. He loved his family, church family, and friends. He will truly be missed by all who was fortunate to know him.

Ervy Lee departed this earthly life on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, two sisters, and two brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sisters, Dorothy Hodge and Rose Mary Jennings; three brothers, Stanley (Shirley), Robert (Carol), and Ronald (Dolly) Jennings. He also leaves a special friend, Betty Webb, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
