Mr. Erwin James Bell was born Tuesday, February 18, 1964, in Waxahachie, Texas to the parents of Robert Lee Bell and Catherine Jordan.
Erwin was raised by his stepfather, C.B. Robertson and mother, Catherine Robertson in Dallas, Texas. He attended Umphrey Lee Elementary, D.A. Hulcy Middle School, and David W. Carter High School. As a child he was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Erwin made his living as one of the best construction builders in Dallas, working alongside his stepfather who taught him. He worked in construction for most of his adult life, and in his final years, he worked for Friendship West Church.
Erwin was loved by so many friends and family. He loved to have get-togethers at his house, playing cards and dominoes and putting meat on the pit. He will be missed by all of us.
