Eula Jones-Jacobs Obituary

Eula Faye Jones-Jacobs, 60, of Dallas, Texas received her angel wings on October 30, 2020. Faye was born in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Edward Lee Jones and Eula Mae Coleman at Parkland Memorial Hospital. She received her education from the Dallas Independent School District and she graduated from L.G. Pinkston in 1976. She was a private-duty nurse at Presbyterian Village North and other medical facilities.

 

Faye was a devoted wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister and friend.  Faye served as a faithful and active member of Living Word Community Bible Church under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Walker, Jr.  She was active in the Women of Faith Ministry, and proudly supported every ministry in the church. She always had a beautiful smile and was the life of the party. She enjoyed helping people, spending time with her family, caring for her granddaughter and praising the Lord. She overcame many of life challenges and was a testament of God’s grace and mercy. She was always glorifying God and telling of His goodness. She was a woman of strength and faith and will always be remembered for her kind, and feisty yet compassionate spirit.

 

Eula is preceded in death by her father, Edward Lee Jones, R.P. Coleman; son, Garland Smallwood, Jr.;  one sister, Delores Turner (Joe Turner, Sr.); sister-in-law, Beatrice Jones; one brother, Edward Lee Jones, Jr. (Hazel Jones). She is survived by, husband, Ronald Wayne Jacobs; daughter, Angelica Hibbler (Robert); sweet granddaughter, Nyla Faith Hibbler; mother, Eula Mae Coleman; three brothers, Michael Jones, Ronald Lee Jones (Marvella), and Bruce Earl Jones (Tarledo); five sisters, Annie Lee Taylor (Charles), Vanessa Dell Jones (Elisha), Caroline Jones, Rose Robinson (Jessie), and Winiford Jones Nelson (Roy).  She is also survived by her aunt, uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, cousins, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
