In loving memory of Frank Gunter, who left us on December 13, 2024. Born on June 13, 1948, in Danville, Virginia, Frank was a devoted son, father, grandfather, and friend. He grew up as the only child of Bernice Tucker and later moved to Dallas, Texas, where he completed his education at Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. Frank owned at FINA gas station before becoming a dedicated truck driver and eventually retiring as the Supervisor of Housekeeping at Methodist Hospital System. His commitment to his work and family was unwavering. Frank has a passion for fishing and watching his favorite TV show, Perry Mason.
Frank is preceded in death by his loving mother, Bernice Tucker; stepfather, Oliver Tucker; son, Frank Gunter, Jr.; first wife, Gloria Gunter; second wife, Pauline Gunter; granddaughter, D’Lisa Kelley; grandson, La’Darrion Nichols; and great grandson, La’Calvin White, Jr.
His memory and legacy will be cherished by his five loving children, Audrey Adair (Edward Scott), Michelle Gunter, Timothy Gunter (Detrich Gunter), LaSondra White, and Joshua Gunter (Crystal Gunter), along with a host of siblings, grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
