Frankie was born on October 31, 1955, in Wichita Falls, TX, to Betsy and Jessie Thompson, who have preceded him in death. Frankie graduated from Rider High School in 1974. He dedicated over 30 years of his career to the North Texas Tollway Authority in Dallas, TX, where he was known for his hard work and commitment.
Frankie was a beloved husband to Iris Thompson, with whom he shared 47 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised two sons, Tauren (Jasmine, daughter-in-law) and Harvey, who brought immense joy to their lives. Frankie was also a proud grandfather to four cherished grandchildren, Aria, Isaiah, Sariyah and Leilani.
He was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend, leaving behind a large and loving family of brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Frankie was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and his enthusiasm for the team was well-known among his family and friends. Frankie’s warmth, kindness, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
