George Richardson

George Marvin Richardson was born in Houston County on February 26, 1946 to the parentage of Clarence Richardson and Robbie Mae Hannah.

He graduated from Roosevelt High School and later attended Divinity School of Theology under the leadership of Pastor Norman Lee Robinson where he became an ordain Minister.

George accepted Christ in his life at an early age. He joined Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church as Assistant Pastor under Reverend Home Thomas. He was very active in his ministry.

George departed this earthly life on September 27, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Richardson; his bonus father, Albert Lee Gibson; mother, Robbie Mae Gibson; grandparents, Tom Hannah Sr. & Florine Hannah; and one sister, Virginia Ruth Carr.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Lucille Richardson; four sons, Steven Richardson, Marvin Richardson, Terrell Richardson, and Harold Richardson; his bonus sons, Troy, Derek, Antwon Polk, and Waymon Harvey; one bonus daughter, Casey Mae Polk, and a caravan of other relatives, friends and church members that loved him dearly.
