Hollie Nell Gee was born December 31, 1938, to Frank Gee Sr. and Louise Gee in Blooming Grove, Texas. To this union three children were born Nell being the eldest.
She was a faithful member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor L.R. Davis for 18 years were she once served as the Choir President. She later moved her membership to Independent Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor M.L. Gee were she once served as President of the 20/20 vision ministry and sang in the choir, until her health started to decline. Two of her favorite songs “Going Up Yonder” and “Amazing Grace”.
She transitioned from time to eternity on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at age 83 surrounded by loved ones. Hollie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Sr. and Louise Gee. Siblings; Irene Cofer, Cleveland George, Mary George, Amilean Nelson, Marine Whittley, Clarence George Jr., and Albert Gee. Three nieces; Gwendolyn Anderson, Bonnie Whittley, and Ida Gee. Three Nephews; Morris George, Odis Gee, & George Napper.
She leaves to cherish precious memories and her family, children: Vernita Patterson (Mitchum Sr.), Cassandra Gee, Revonza Gee, Michael Gee, Tony Gee, and Natosha Gee; grandchildren: Shenique Gee, LaShundra Gee, Myosha Patterson, Donnell Gee, Mitchum Patterson II (Sherry), Devon Gee (Joyce), Darron Harris (Sherona), Dominic Gee, Keiana Gee, Hollie Gee, and Kevon Gee; great grandchildren: Destiny Ford, Diamond Ford, DaZion Ford, Mitchum Patterson III, Vadarius Patterson, Jayce Foster, O’Ryan Wallace, Donnell Gee Jr., Devon Gee, Da’Mya Gee, O’Mariyon Wallace, Jurnie Donnell, Kylie Crutcher, Davon Gee, Harper Gee, and Kessih Gee; great-great grandchild: Ashunti Chism; one brother: Frank Gee Jr. (Diana), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.
