Irene Johnson

Irene was born to the late Estelle and Nolan Childress on August 27, 1935 in Crocket, Texas. Irene was married for almost 50 years to the late O.C. Johnson, 7 children were born to this union. Five boys and two girls.

Irene completed her education in the Crocket school district. Irene loved her family, she also loved sewing and cooking for her family and friends.

Irene transition for this earthly life to glory on Wednesday April 29, 2020 at 11:57am. Those left to cherish her precious memories are: Mal Johnson (Sandra), Bonnie J. Ware (Deacon Richard), James Johnson (Ruby) Wanda Elliott (Glen), Alvie Johnson (Kay), Bobby Johnson, Daryl Johnson (Judy), grand children, great grandchildren.  One sister Juanita Moreland (Jesse), Jerry Childress (Ruby) Terry Childress (Regina) a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
