Jason was born on February 12, 1985, to Debra (Marshall) Spann and Andre Spann in Dallas, Texas.
Jason began his walk with God as a young child, through the teachings of his parents and his church family at Sanctuary of Liberty. Jason graduated from Summit High School in Arlington, Texas, in 2003.
Jason was a devoted son, a loyal brother, a proud uncle, a caring nephew, and a cherished grandson. His love for his family was evident in everything he did.
He was always present, generous, and kind. Whether he was offering a helping hand, sharing a laugh, or simply being there when it mattered most, Jason made those around him feel valued and loved.
Jason leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Debra (Marshall) Spann, and his father, Andre Spann, of Mansfield, Texas. He is also survived by his brother, DeAndre Spann of Virginia, and his sister, Britteny Spann of Dallas, Texas. Jason’s beloved grandmother, Delma Canyon of Dallas, also mourns his loss, along with a host of relatives and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Tamiron Spann, and his paternal grandparents, Aldor Spann and Joann Spann of Chicago, Ill. Martial grandfather O. C. Canyon of Dallas, Texas.
