Jerry Lee Childress, Sr.

Jerry was born to the late Estelle and Nolan Childress on January 20, 1953 in Waxahachie, Texas.

Jerry was married for almost 45 years to Ruby Williams Childress.  Two children were born to this union. One daughter and one son.

Jerry and Ruby are members of the Central Pointe Church in Dallas, under the leadership of Dr. Rodney Dulin. Senior Pastor. Jerry finished his education in the Dallas Independent School District.

Jerry loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren Ravyn and Jayden, he was so proud of them.  Jerry enjoyed wood working projects and traveling.

Jerry transitioned from this earthly life to glory on Saturday August 8, 2020 at 3:20pm

Those left to cherish his precious memories are: Ruby Childress (wife), two children, Jerrica (DeRon), Jerry Jr. (Ashley), grandchildren Ravyn and Jayden. Sister Juanita Moreland (Jesse) Brother Terry Childress (Regina). Sister in law Brenda Robinson, brother in law Aaron Williams, brother in law Rev. Wayne Williams (Felicia), Wanda Elliott (Glen), Bonnie Ware, (Deacon Richard III), a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
