John David Babiarz was born in a little town called Cheektowaga in Buffalo, New York to Gabriel Stantley Babiarz and Joan Isabel Kidd. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandson, X’zavier Ray.
Upon graduating from high school, John moved to Dallas, Texas. He later attended DeVry Institute, Brown Trail School of Preaching, and Covenant Transportation, a truck driving School.
On September 10, 1993, he was united to Alana Babiarz in Holy Matrimony with her three children, who he treated as his own.
John worked for Crane Plumbing, Steak and Egg Restaurant, City of Dallas, and Jack in the Box.
He was baptized at Marsalis Avenue Church of Christ. He later transferred his membership to Garza Avenue Church of Christ where he was on the Usher Board, drove the bus, and served God like “John the Baptizer”.
John leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Alana M. Babiarz; three stepsons, Leon Ray, Allen Ray, and Samuel Smith; four brothers, Frank (Karen), Paul, Charles, and Thomas; granddaughter, Cristina James, along with a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
