One of God’s most beautiful creations was sent to grace us with his presence in the person of Kennedy “Ken” Bifford Lambert. He was born August 13, 1964, to Harvest Lambert and Alvertena Thompson Glover in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
After graduating from Watson Chapel High School in 1982, he joined the United States Marine Corp where he excelled as a marksman achieving numerous awards and recognition. While in the military he served in 16 different countries and explored the world. After serving his country, Ken returned home and became a Sergeant for the Department of Corrections. He was a proud member of Street F/X M.C. and was the Road Captain and an avid golfer in which he was very competitive.
Ken was a God fearing and faithful Christian who served as a deacon at Grace Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a devoted and caring husband, father and son.
On Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Mansfield, Texas, Ken answered the call and took flight and left behind the pain, worries, frustrations and disappointments of this world, and went home to sweet rest. He’s preceded in death by his stepfather Odis Glover and sister Vicki Cross.
Those left to carry on his legacy and cherish loving memories are his wife Janet, mother Alvertena, father Harvest (Linda); Sons, Keren (Margaret).
