Obituary

Kevin’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Kevin Dwayne Jennings was born July 14, 1964, to the parentage of Curtis and Billie Jean Jennings in Dallas, Texas. He attended and graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School in 1982. He attended New Mt. Calvary where he accepted Christ at an early age and sung in the church choir.

Kevin had a passion for cooking and was great at it. He was often called upon to cook his famous greens for the holidays. He was also a sharp dresser who would not be caught without his hat. He was a son, brother, uncle, and great friend to many and will be truly missed.  ,

Kevin is preceded in death by both parents, Curtis and Billie Jennings and sister Debra Baker.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memories to his loving sister, Sharon McCoy; nieces, Shanika Jennings, De’Andrea Baker, O’Sharrah Daniel, and Artura Baker; nephew, Michael (Regina) Jennings; three great nephews, Javian Avery and Ayden & Landon Jennings; aunts, Patricia Watson, Dorothy and Rosemary Jennings; uncles, Kenneth (Mary) Anderson, Rozelle Roy, Stanley (Shirley) Jennings, Ronald (Darlene) Jennings, Erving Jennings, and Robert (Carolyn) Jennings; and lastly, he leaves memories with a host of other relatives and close dear friends.
