Kristopher Black

Kristopher Black was born on Thursday, August 3, 1995, at 6:39 p.m. He graduated from I. Jean Cooper High School and most recently worked in a warehouse as a master forklift driver. 

Kris lived with his whole heart, and family was always at the center of his world. He was the definition of a devoted father, a loving son, a loyal brother, and the kind of uncle every child adored. A true gentle giant, he carried a strength that showed up not just in his presence, but in the way he protected and cared for the people he loved. He was funny and goofy in the best ways, able to fill any room with laughter, but also tender, dependable, and deeply loyal. His love was steady, his spirit was warm, and his impact on his family is something words can barely hold. Though his time with us ended too soon, the memories he gave and the love he poured into those around him will live on forever. 

He is survived by his Loving parents, Bryan and Knedra Robinson; his precious daughter Kailyn Black; his sisters, Ka’Bria Black, Bry’Tianna Robinson; and his brother, Bryan Robinson Jr. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephew: Ka’Lee, Taylor, AuBrielle, and Kash. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather Curtis Black, along with his paternal grandmother, Gwen Jones. He is lovingly remembered by his aunts Kristi, Miesha, LaDetria. He leaves behind a host of extended relatives and dear friends who will cherish his memory. 

He was preceded in death by his father, LaNorris Jones; his son, KJ; his paternal grandparents, Donnell and Bobbi Jones, along with many close friends who went before him.
