LaTonya Nicole Robinson was welcomed into this world on November 3, 1983 in Dallas, Texas to loving parents, Charles Edward Robinson and Lekita Shera Smith Robinson.
LaTonya accepted Christ at an early age, and was educated in the Dallas Public Schools, graduating from Skyline High School in 2002. She continued her life’s journey by enlisting into the United States Navy after graduating from high school. She served three and a half years before being honorably discharged in 2006.
At an early age, LaTonya had a passion and extraordinary talent for art expressions in sketching and oil painting, and she would gift her subjects with the incredible pieces of work. Pursuing her talent, LaTonya furthered her education and received her Associate’s Degree in Arts from El Centro College in Dallas, Texas. She had an appreciation for music of all genres and had an extensive library of her favorite artists.
LaTonya leaves behind to cherish her memories: her loving parents, grandmother, Ms. Zilpha L. Smith; a special and caring sister, Catia Antoinette Robinson; two brothers, Christopher Arthur Edwards, and Eric Dewayne Edwards; nieces, Taniah Raquel Gay, Amari Shera Gay, and Zakire Janae Gray; nephew, Kelvin Ladon Walker, Jr.; great nephew, Jeremiah O’Keith Atkinson, Jr.; great niece, Jermany A’laya Michelle Atkinson, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and friends that loved her dearly.
