It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Larry Donnell Thomas, who left us on September 18, 2024. Born on September 24, 1956, Larry Donnell Thomas was a dedicated and loving individual who touched the lives of many.
Larry Donnell Thomas proudly served in the Army for 14 years as an SSG, demonstrating unwavering commitment and bravery. His service to our country was a testament to his strength and dedication.
Beyond his military career, Larry Donnell Thomas was known for the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon 4th Award, Army Good Conduct Medal 3rd award, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon 2nd Award, Army Achievement Medal 3rd Award, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Air Assault Badge, Rifle M-16 Hand Grenade Expert. He loved having friends over to play dominoes, spending time with family and helping others.
He was a beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Preceded in death by: Mother and Father: Callary & James Earl Thomas; Brothers: Wardell Winston and James Earl Thomas; Sister: Tracy Thomas.
He is survived by his loving wife: Luzviminda Thomas; son: Damien Thomas; Brothers: Narvin (Betty) Thomas, Eugene Thomas, Darrell Thomas, Rodney (Tranita) Thomas; Sisters: Mary Perry, Joan Thomas, Nichole Thomas and a host of nieces and nephews.
