Leon Thomas Jr. was born on May 5, 1965 on Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Harrison Township, Michigan to the parentage of Marjorie Gantt Thomas and Leon Thomas, Sr. whom both preceded him in death.
Leon Thomas, Jr. attended Mt. Clemens High School in Michigan. Then after Indiana College of Architecture before enlisting into the United States Army as a E4 Chef on December 28, 1984 until December 16, 1987. Leon Jr., was employed by General Dynamics, and United States Post Office in Oakland, California for 10 years.
Leon's dream was to become a Church of Christ Minister and attended S.W. School of Bible Study in Austin, Texas.
Leon Jr., loved to sing and write music.
Leon was stationed in Monterey, California where he met and married Katy James and out of their union came, Keshena (Sacramento) and Laquan Thomas (Florida).
Leon Jr., is survived by two siblings, Lafanita (Madagette) Elzy and Diane L. Thomas of Arlington, Texas; one grandchild, Brandon Oscilia; nieces and nephews, Cortez, Deon, Simon, and Simona, along with a host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
