Lillian Brown

In loving memory of our beloved mother, we regretfully announce the passing of Lillian Tollett Brown. She was an active community participant and long-time resident of Duncanville, Texas. Surrounded by her loved ones, she passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, July 21, 2023. She spent 89 years living, loving, and inspiring all who knew her. 

Lillian was a strong woman who faced every challenge in life with courage, grace, and dignity. She was a source of encouragement to all who knew her.  We were blessed and proud to have her as the matriarch of our family. Lillian was a wonderful, loving mother who gave all to her family.  She was a woman of strong faith, and she continually instilled in us the importance of family bonds, hard work, and doing what is right. She was a true role model. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.  Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Royce P. Brown in 1991, and grandson Justin Taylor Northcutt in 2018.  She is survived by son Owen Taylor Northcutt from Sunset, Texas, daughter Brenda Northcutt Benson from Jacksonville, Texas, son Ronnie Wesley and wife Kelly Northcutt from Alvord, Texas, son Quincy Dee Brown from Cedar Hill, Texas, 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. 

Mother, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace until we're together again.
