Lovelia Hutchings Obituary

Lovelia Marie Hutchings was born to the late Judge L. Crockett and Fannie L Crockett on November 1, 1940, in Harleton, Texas. Marie attended Valley View High School in Gilmer, TX.  She was a devoted wife of Roy B. Hutchings for 47 years, who gained his wings October 7, 2005. To this union they were blessed with two sons.  Marie accepted Christ and was a member of the East Dallas Church of Christ, Dallas, TX for over 25 years. A member of Valley Springs Church of Christ Bethlehem Community, Gilmer. She later attended Cold Springs Church of Christ Lancaster, TX until her health prevented her attendance.  

 

After over 30 years of service at the East Dallas Hospital and later Grace Presbyterian Retirement Center Marie retired and spent her time enjoying Family, Singing Hymns and Sports.

 

 Marie was preceded in death by her son R. Anthony Hutchings and 2 siblings. She leaves to cherish her memories one Son Billy Craig Hutchings (Jonetta), 6 grandchildren: Angel Hutchings Lenz: Roy Anthony Hutching Jr., Sydney Marie Hutchings; Lovelia Samone Hutchings: Billy Craig Hutchings Jr.; Keon Craig Hutchings. She also leaves three sisters: Bennie J Armstrong; Quinteen Crockett; Joyce Crockett (Vernon); three brothers: Richard Crockett; Ermon Crockett (Premella) and Dorley Crockett. Others left to cherish her memories include host nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
