Luther Earl Johnson

Mr. Luther Earl Johnson, Jr. was born in Dallas, Texas to the late Luther Dee Johnson, Sr. and Wilma Johnson-Morrow. He received his education from Dallas Independent School District. He later embarked into entrepreneurial endeavors.

He was wed to Nance Lovely Johnson and from this union two daughters were born, Ami (Nikki) Johnson and Arrika (Baby Girl) Johnson.

He departed this life on January 11, 2024. Luther Earl Johnson, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents Luther Dee Johnson, Sr. and Wilma Johnson—Morrow, and also his sisters, Helen Fields, Charlene Jones and Dorothy Warren. Luther Earl leaves to cherish his memories: (2) daughters; Ami Hooper (Barry), Arrika Johnson; (2) grandsons, D’Ariq Lusk, and Derrick Lockett II; (8) great-grandchildren; (1) sister; Nettie Knight (Lawrence); and a host of nieces and nephews.
