Marc Harrell

Marc Anthony Harrell was born on January 17, 1956 to the late Elnora Scott and Eugene Harrell in Idabel, Oklahoma. He departed this life on January 14, 2021.

Marc moved to Hereford, Texas in 1958 and then moved to Dallas, Texas in 1966.  He spent most of his early life in Dallas and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1974. He later moved to Atlanta, Georgia and had two children, Marc Harrell, Jr. and Shawana Stringer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Betty Jean Hopkins and Belinda Harrell; four brothers, Edward Rhea Scott, Thomas Rhea Scott, Dovis Scott, and Clifton Harrell.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one brother, Kenneth Harrell of Dallas, Texas; two children, Marc Harrell, Jr. and Shawana Stringer; nine grandchildren, Rasul Shaw Jr., Isis Shaw, Amari Stringer, Imani Stringer, India Stringer, Nasir Stringer, Sade Harrell, Jada Harrell, and Zaire Harrell of Atlanta, Georgia; special friend, Traci Thomas of Dallas, Texas, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
