His love of sports stems from youth, playing little league baseball and high school football. This love of sports continued as a fan of local sports Teams: Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks and most importantly his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He loved to play dominoes with his brothers, they would spend most of the night trying to either get even or break the tie.  Maurice looked forward to our family reunions, the men would spend the whole day at the dominoes table. We often played Bid Whiz together sometimes spade, but dominoes was his game.
