Michael Bush Obituary

Michael Ray Bush was born on February 5, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, to Marvin Bush and Joyce Ann Washington Luster. From the very beginning, Michael’s life was rooted in family, faith, and perseverance.

 

Michael attended L.G. Pinkston High School in Dallas, where he excelled in football and became a standout athlete. His talent and dedication on the field earned him scholarship opportunities to Arizona and Texas Southern University, a testament to his determination and drive.

 

In 1968, while attending L.G. Pinkston High School, Michael met the love of his life, Patsy Henderson. They were married for 47 years and shared a deep bond built on love, commitment, and companionship. Together, they especially enjoyed traveling and cruising, creating lasting memories while exploring new places side by side.

 

Michael later pursued a career as a truck driver; a profession he took great pride in. Through hard work and perseverance, he became an owner-operator and founded Michael Bush Trucking LLC, building a legacy of independence, dedication, and resilience.

 

Michael accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and lived his life grounded in faith and devotion. He was known for his quiet strength, unwavering love for his family, and the wisdom he shared through both words and example.

 

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Bush and Joyce Ann Washington- Luster.

 

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Patsy Bush; two daughters, Cemondria Bush and Shalonda Edwards; one son, Cadrion Bush (Sara); grandchildren, Breona Gardner, Devin Bush, Cameron Strapp, Michael Gardner, and Jaylen Bush; great-grandchildren, Roman Bush and Micah Gardner; his sister, Lynda Bush-Means; step-sister, Sandra Luster – Thomas ; nephew, Youraldon Means; along with a host of other relatives and friends who brought him immeasurable joy and pride.

 

Michael Ray Bush will be remembered for his strength, faith, dedication, laughter, joy, and deep love for family. His life leaves a lasting imprint, and his memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
