Pamela Nell Nobles was born January 24, 1957 in Kaufman Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a dedicated and faithful member of Illinois Avenue Missionary Baptist Church where she served as the President of the Usher Board and on the Finance Committee. She also was active in the mission circle and very involved with the youth.
She started her education in Kaufman ISD and finished in Dallas ISD upon graduating from W.H. Adamson High School. She continued her education at Texas College where she earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and went on to serve as an active member in several organizations which included Texas College Alumni Association, Dallas Metro Chapter-Texas College NAA, United Negro College Fund and was a proud Alpha Kappa Alpha Soror.
After college, she met and married Harold Gibson and they were blessed with two beautiful daughters Tamika and Tarsha Gibson. She was especially proud of her daughters and the young ladies they have grown into.
Throughout her career she worked as an Auditor before retiring from the workforce in 2018.
She is preceded in death by father-Eli Greer Jr., sister- Patricia Greer and niece- Daigan Patrice Thomas
Pamela’s legacy will live on through her mother, Vernell Tyler, daughters Tamika (Frank) and Tarsha Gibson, Brothers, Charles Miller, Curtis Greer and Gregory Greer; Sisters Diana Greer, Debora Greer and Tonya Greer. Special nieces LaShunda Thomas and Temisha McCaskill and nephew Courtney Greer whom she helped raise along with other nieces and nephews who all knew her as “Aunt Sissy”
All who knew and loved Pam will remember her strong will and strength of character. She was generous, caring, and had a very helpful spirit. Her wisdom, love of family, friends and life will forever be remembered and will be greatly missed. Pam will never be forgotten in the hearts of many.
