Parish Harris Obituary

Parish Tomone Harris better known by all as “Bubba, Coach P, and Par” was born September 1, 1971, in Chicago, Ill forming the union of Thomas and Sher Harris. Parish passed away at 50 years old, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. His passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained and encouraged by his upbeat no nonsense personality and demeanor.

Parish was an articulate child with endless curiosity, lots of energy, and a knack for driving his parents crazy. He was truly the life of the party and will be deeply missed.

During his time with us Parish made a point to always help anyone with whatever he could. Everyone who knows Bubba, knows love, passion, and encouragement. To Parish, family meant everything and each of you reading this are his family. Parish was an amazing man who led an extraordinary life, sharing his optimism, motivation, joy, wisdom, and sunshine into the lives of everyone who met him.

Bubba’s love of life was evident in the way he lived. He was a natural athlete, fitness enthusiast, and lover of people. He was “Coach P” to an outstanding women’s football team and lead with enthusiasm and zest. The Garage Gym Baby became his signature. His push for strength, health, and wellness was known by all. He directed his energies to helping others to regain and maintain their well-being.

Parish was an exceptional father to his three children, a loving fiancé and big brother to many. He was uncle and father figure to his nieces, cousins, and any person that crossed his path. Parish believed it was his ministry to celebrate, protect, and encourage women, always being there to lend a helping hand and going that extra mile for anyone in distress.

Parish leaves to cherish his memories: His parents: Thomas and Sher Harris, his sister Thomasina Harris: Wife: Tonya Arroyo, three children: PJ, Samera and Thomas, Grandmother: Esther Carter, Aunt: Dora Carter, Nancy Pirtle and Patricia Ann Harris, Uncle: Jerry Kidd, and Leamon Harris, a host of cousins, and friends.
