On June 25, 1940, William, and Alice (Wiley) Carson were blessed with a baby girl of the family, and they named her Pearlie Beatrice. Pearlie was born into a family with strong Christian values. She accepted and followed Christ at an early age and did so for the remainder of her life. Pearlie attended A.V. Lee High School, in Midway, TX. Even though she eventually moved to Dallas, she was always proud of her hometown.
Pearlie B was a gifted seamstress, a loving mother, protector, and provider for her two children and her grandchildren. Her humor, smile, and feistiness will always be remembered and cherished by her family and friends.
After faithfully serving the Lord for 83 years of her life, Pearlie was called to her peaceful rest on Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, William, and Alice Carson; sisters, Anna Mae, and Jewel Dean; brothers John Lee (survived by Mary Carson), William Roger (survived by Maxine Carson); great-grandson, Corbin Dallas Carson.
She leaves to fondly remember her life and love; 1 sister (whom she loved dearly) Jeanette Turner, of Midway, TX; her children (whom she adored), Pamela Batts (John) of Garland, Tx and Johnnie Strange (Anji) of Dallas, TX; Her grandchildren (whom she lovingly spoiled), Regina Carson (Kenneth), Tawanda Anderson (Baye’), Derrick Carson (Michelle), Janika Smith (Ideria), Jeremy Strange, and Dylan Strange.
