Raymond Bradford, Jr.

Raymond Bradford Jr. was born December 18, 1950 to Raymond Sr. and Veola Bradford in Gladewater, Texas. He was called home on Sunday, January 31, 2021.

Raymond attended Hamilton Park School where he was an honor student and captain of the basketball team. He graduated in 1969 and continued his education at Christian College of the Southwest in 1970. He loved cars and was known as Mr. Moto in the club he joined. He also enjoyed watching basketball, football, and old western movies on TV.

He was baptized at Eastside Church of Christ and was attending Fourth Avenue Church of Christ in Dallas until his health worsened in 2018.

Raymond married Carolyn Kennedy and had two children. He married Deanna Edwards and had one child. 

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents.

Cherishing his precious memories are: his daughter, Raymetra Bradford; two sons, Raymond Bradford, III and Darius Bradford; three grandchildren, Jakari Bradford, Kyshonna Johnson and Nimer McRae; two great grandchildren; five siblings; six nieces and nephews; several great and great great nieces and nephews; Carolyn Bradford; Naomi “Aunt Putt” Moore; Deanna Bradford, along with a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones.
