Robertson Neal

Robertson Delano Neal was born February 3, 1940 in Gilmer, Texas to the parentage of Bennie and Hattie Neal. He was one of nine children born to this union.

He attended the New Mountain Baptist Church where he accepted Christ at an early age. 

Robertson married Ruby Jewel Tipps in 1961 and from this union three children were born, Caryl Duane Neal, Carey Dunne Neal, and Katrina LaShun Neal.

Robertson departed this earthly life on March 20, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Hattie Neal; six brothers, Johnny Hugh Neal, Roland Neal, Roosevelt Neal, Thomas Lee Neal, Johnny Lee Neal, and Douglas Neal; two sisters, Paulene Dixon and Veryl Jean Reed; one grandchild, Caryletta Deshun Neal. 

Those remaining to cherish his memories are: sons, Caryl Neal (Nina) and Carey Neal (MonShea); daughter, Katrina Neal (Ron); 8 grandchildren, Terrence  Bonner (Jaqueline), Cory Neal (Delena), Anquell Neal, Shontanise Brown (Reynaldo), Shaynia Denson, Chirey Neal, Carey Neal II, and Carrington Neal; friend, Hilda Borders; nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
