Tra’Nia Jackson was born on December 10, 1996, to Shanequa ‘Nikki’ Stroughter and Gregory Jackson. She was lovingly raised by Nikki and her stepfather, Erick Stroughter.
Tra’Nia attended Lancaster High School, where she was known for her vibrant personality, warm smile, and determination. A faithful member of Concord Church, her life was guided by her strong faith and deep love for God and others. She had a creative soul and a giving heart—she had a passion for sewing and hairstyling and made those around her feel beautiful and confident. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends, laughing, talking, and simply enjoying each other’s presence. Her work ethic was unmatched, and she always gave her best in everything she did. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Freeman, great-grandmothers, Willene Hudson and Mildred Zackery; and brother, Damien Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Shanequa Stroughter and stepfather, Erick Stroughter (Cedar Hill, TX); her sisters, Shakila Hudson (Dallas, TX), Bianca Stroughter (DeSoto, TX), and Cambry Craig (Cedar Hill, TX); her brothers, Hunter Stroughter and Treyvon Jackson (Cedar Hill, TX); her grandmother, Pinky Jones, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. She also leaves a very special aunt, Toni Jackson Smith, who was present throughout her entire life.
Though her time with us was brief, her impact will be everlasting. Her beautiful spirit and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.
