Vera L. Logwood (Woodall) was born March 25, 1948, in Gary, Indiana and rested in eternity with the Creator on May 28th, 2025. Her parents, Lee Bertha Woodall and Hersie Woodall preceded her in death. Vera Logwood had a heart for the young, elderly and needy. She volunteered for over 2 decades at several food outreach ministries within the DFW area. She was a faithful servant to the Creator, always giving in abundance. She raised her six children along with foster care children and ran a home daycare. Vera always reached out and put a special touch on every life she encountered.

 

Vera leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Robert Logwood Sr.; children, Robert Logwood Jr. (Su-Rine), Shalonda Russell (Thomas Russell), Vernell Logwood, Sharetha Hollier, Jason Logwood, and Kara Logwood, grandchildren, Breanna Hollier, Keianna Brown, Jordan Staudenmayer, DeVante Coleman, and DJ Coleman; her sisters, Carolyn Frye, and Bertha Woodall; her brothers, Hersie Woodall, Hermon Woodall (April Woodall), Jake Woodall (Beanie), and Mark Woodall, along with a host of other family and friends.
