Victor Robinson

Victor Bernard Robinson was born in Dallas, Texas on January 7th, 1965, to the parentage of Vernon B. Robinson Sr. and Betty Robinson. He graduated from Business and Management Center High School in 1982. He attended Cedar Valley College and barber college where he later become one of the community barbers. Victor was currently a student at Eastfield College, studying to become a licensed chemical dependency counselor. After overcoming his own addictions, Victor devoted his life as a recovery advocate and helped to save lives through his own experiences. He committed his time to various outreach and prison ministries. Victor began his relationship with Christ at an early age, where he joined Evangelist Temple COGIC. He began playing drums and became a vital part of the youth ministry where his love for Christian rap developed an atmosphere to bring people to Christ. Victor took pride in working to support his family and dedicated the last 10 years of his life to serve substance/alcohol abuse victims and the mentally ill. He was a Patient Care Coordinator for Advanced Dallas and a Treatment Advocate for Greenhouse Treatment Center.

He first met the love of his life in 2003 where they had a son, Vejay Johnson. They later reunited and married on October 17th, 2015, at the annual New Life Church in The City picnic. Where they were married and counseled by Dr. Apostle E. B Henderson. They served together in ministry at New Life Church in The City, and Church of The Blood Covenant as the minister of music under the direction of Pastor Dr. Gwendolyn Spratt.

Victor leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Vatosha Robinson; mother, Betty Robinson; daughter, Sharamie Robinson; grandson, Antonio Robinson, son, Vejay Johnson; daughter, Taylor Starling, granddaughter, Peyton Simons; son, Tim Starling; sisters, Sandra Robinson, Debra Hartfield, and Delma Wilson; brothers Vernon Robinson Jr., Jason Robinson and Patrick Jones; nephews, Derrius Thompson (Jennifer Thompson) and Julian Harlin; God daughter, Kamaree Matthews, and a host of family loved ones and friends.
