Willie Rodger Moore was born to Willie Moore and Mary Elizabeth Harrison Moore, on November 22, 1942 in Baltimore City, MD. He was proceeded in death by his parents Willie Moore and Mary Elizabeth Harrison Moore, two brothers, Thomas Moore and Charles Moore, also a daughter, Nona Williams. He was affectionately known to his wife, Lovie L. Kazee-Moore as "Rodger" he was truly a devoted husband and father.
Upon graduating from Carver High School in Baltimore Maryland, Rodger extended his education by attending LaSalle Extention University in Chicago, Ill. and Foothill College in Los Altos, California. His major was in photography but, he was also good at electronics, building furniture, a locksmith, and a host of other things he fixed his mind to do. Rodger was active duty in the United States Navy and also served in the United States Army Reserves between 1963-1984. He received an honorable discharge from both branches.
Leaving to cherish his precious memories are his wife of 29 years, Lovie L. Kazee Moore; sons: Willie R. Moore Jr, Alston R. Moore (Rebecca), Wayne M. Moore (Susan), and Richard A. Bell (Mary); daughters, Eddie M. Collins (Lial), and Aeriol Achusi; brother, Kenneth J. Moore(Suzzeth) of California; sister, Betty Simms of California. A special friend and bonus daughter of 38 years, Bishop Deborah A. Moore. A host of loving grandchildren 18, great grands 24, great-great grands 5, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, cousins, relatives and friends. He will be truly missed by all members of his various congregations.
