Barbara Christine (Jackson) Berry

Barbara Christine Berry, a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and loving person to other family members went home to be with the LORD on Friday, March 8, 2019.  She was born Barbara Christine Jackson on Sunday, December 25, 1960, in Dallas, Texas to the parents of Willie Louis Sr. and Margie Nell Jackson.  Barbara accepted Christ while attending Deliverance Chapel of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Supt. Elijah Kelley Jr.  While there, she was a choir member and involved in many other church functions for over a course of two decades.  Barbara also attended Wilmer Hutchins High School where she developed and maintain long term friendships.

Barbara loving heart and caring spirt resonated to everyone she met.  This made an easy transition to becoming a Home Health Care provider.   She was known for her beautiful smile and the way she loved the LORD, family and her dog.    

Barbara was preceded in death by parents, Willie Louis Sr. and Margie Nell Jackson and grandson, LaMarcus Green.  She leaves to cherish her memories; daughter, Yolette (Donald Ray) Jackson and two sons, Willie III and Bradley Jackson.  Five grandchildren;  Lativia Jackson, Tyrasha (Foster III) Davis, Aldranique and Keletria Richmond and Damarion Jackson.  Five Great Grandchildren;  Janay Crabtree, Anthony Jackson, Khaden Iglehart, Danye Jackson and Ke’montae Richmond.  One sister, Brenda (Gene) Brown and three brothers, Kenneth (Tina) Jackson of Louisville, KY, Gregory (Gwen) Jackson and Willie Jr. (Rosemary) Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, aunt  and many other relatives and  friends.  

The memory of Barbara and her love she shown and giving presence will forever be cherished and missed by all family and friends.
