Pearlyne Graham Scourton was born on August 2, 1932 in Cedar Grove, Texas to the parentage of the late Mr. Gussie Graham and the late Mrs. Lillian Lyons Graham. Pearlyne united with the McIntyre Chapel Baptist Church in Terrell, Texas at a young age.Pearlyne attended and graduated from Cartwright High School in Wills Point, Texas, where she was Salutatorian of her graduating class under the leadership of Professor Samuel Sparks. She was employed by Garland Memorial Hospital for over twenty years as a Labor and Delivery Tech until her retirement.

Pearlyne Graham Scourton transitioned from this earthly life on Friday, June 28, 2019. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Brown and her only son, Darron Douglas Scourton, along with four brothers and one sister. She leaves to mourn her memories: three daughters, Barbara Ann Jackson, Loyce Evelyne Langston and Susie Scourton Brown; a loving daughter-in-law, Lorinda F. Scourton; step daughter, Pamela Jobe; six grandchildren, LeiTasha Jackson, Yotshee Willie, LeiTisha Patton, Kiowa Scourton, Glennesha Scourton and Graylon Brown; thirteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; three sisters, LuBertha Hicks, Gloria Kidd (James Kidd) and Francene Williams (Glenn Williams); one brother, Clarence Graham; four very special friends, Eunice Moulton, R. Carr, the Reverend Cleophus Wilson and Drue Langston, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that loved her dearly.
