Donna Griffin

Ms. Donna Leigh Griffin was born June 22, 1960 to the parentage of Ella Ree Thompson and Charles Lee Thompson, Jr. in Dallas, Texas. She departed this life August 25, 2021.

She united with Liberty Baptist Church at an early age. She received her education from Dallas Public Schools, graduating from Kimball High School. She retired from Security Services due to health compilations.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lee Thompson, Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Lola and Lossie Suell; her paternal grandparents, Annie Bell Russell and Charles Lee Thompson, Sr.; her paternal aunts, Artnice Brown and Purgia Jordan; paternal uncles, Olen Russell, Glen Walker, and Dwight Walker; brother, Rockey Lynn Suell;  granddaughter, Juanaijha Thompson.

Donna leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Ella Ree Thompson; her siblings, Ronnie Suell (Sandy), Byron Suell, Schedelra (Haywood) Johnson, Andre (Nikita) McDade, and Tina Davis; her children, Howard Thompson, Sr., Lei’Don (Akeema) Blanco, Regional Griffin Jr., and Tiffany Wright. She also leaves behind 16 grandkids, 4 great grandkids, her significant other, Victor Anderson, and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
