Guadalupe Benavidez

Guadalupe Benavidez, 81, a long-time resident of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Guadalupe Benavidez was born on March 28, 1943, where he spent most of his childhood in San Antonio, Texas. On October 31, 1969, he would marry his late "honey", Beatriz Benavidez. They would soon move to Grand Prairie, where they would spend the next fifty years.

The two enjoyed eating pan dulce and drinking a cafecito, watching Steve Harvey, and being around their many grandchildren.

Guadalupe enjoyed fishing, being outside for fresh air, and watching Walker, Texas Ranger while drinking coffee.

He is survived by his six children, many generations of grandchildren, and his three brothers, Fito Benavidez, Carlos Benavidez and Pete Benavidez.&&In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Maria Helena Benavidez and wife, Beatriz Benavidez.
