Isadora Henry Phillips was born November 22, 1931 in Kaufman, Texas to Hattie Lee Walton and Isadore Henry.
She was a faithful member of Fourth Avenue Church of Christ. “Sis. Phillips”, as she was affectionately called by members of her church, served as a Sunday School teacher, led bible study series, and was overall a key prayer warrior and confidant for many people she crossed paths with.
She loved baking sweats, cooking for her family and friends. Her favorite treats to bake were tea cakes, pound cakes, and sweet potato pies.
Isadora Phillips departed this earthly life on March 3, 2024. She was preceded in death by two children, Jean Henry Wyatt and Wendell Henry.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: four children, James Henry, Richard Wayne Henry, Sylvia Jones, and Carl Phillips; a special granddaughter whom she raised as her own, Crystal Henry; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends that loved her dearly.
